The amount that was awarded was considerably higher than expected and the 21 bands will benefit accordingly. It could have gone the other way.
The bands had a contract with the lawyers. It is dishonourable to contest the fee at this point. The firm has already agreed to accept half of what they were owed according to the original agreement. The only objection I have is that they want to specify how the forfeited other half is to be used.
Ask what that translates into as an hourly rate for the legal team.
Thought the lawyers gave back 50%.
